Q & A with Denis Mukaisi

Q.When did you join AFC Leopards?

A.I first joined Leopards during the 2004/2005 season while still in School where I did a brief stint before going to Thika United. I rejoined the club in mid 2008 from Mahakama Eldoret both in the nationwide league.

Q.How old are you?

A.I was born in September 1987.

Q.What inspires you?

A.I am one of those people who eat and sleep football. I have great passion for the game and hope to play professional soccer in Europe in the near future.

Q. How is it like to play for AFC?

A.It's the dream of every player in Kenya to play for AFC Leopards because of its impressive past history and the great fan base that is so inspiring. But I must admit it's not easy because of the pressure from success hungry fans.

Q. Which position do you play?

A.I play both attacking forward or offensive midfielder.

Q. What are your hobbies?

A.I like listening to music, travelling and watching movies.

Q. What's your take on KPL?

A. The Kenya Premier League has finally come of age with brilliant football being witnessed by all clubs. It's very competitive to the point that every match counts.

Q. How do you feel to have been called for the first time for the national team?

A. It's great and I hope to make it to the first team sooner than later. I will capitalize on the exposure to enhance my career.
