Leopards Share Spoils with Congo United

AFC Leopards was held to a one all draw with the homeside Congo United at Mombasa Stadium on Monday evening. Ingwe's second half goal was netted by veteran midfielder Francis Xavier from the spot after new signing Joseph Okumu was brough down in the box. After dominating throughout the match, lack of concentration allowed the homeside to snatch a late equaliser to even matters. AFC fielded majority new signings including Israeli from Agro chemicals, Imbalabala from Vihiga High and International goalie Webo. The friendly is part of Ingwe's build up match program before the start of a new season and CAF challenge. Leopards who have been camping in Mombasa for the past five days are set to return to Nairobi on Wednesday in readiness for an international friendly against Uganda Revenue Authority on Sunday evening at City Stadium.
